So I was so excited about getting this palette that I actually missed the opportunity to purchase it before it sold out the first time! I’ve seen the other Naked palettes before but I am not a regular of dark or even anything close to dark {daily} eye makeup. I have a few specialty palettes with fewer color choices + a cheaper price tag that I reach for when I want something a little darker but I usually opt for golden browns, rose tones + shimmery darks so you can see why I died when I saw brief photos of this dancing around social media sites. Even my hubby rushed me to grab one which I thought was sooo darn cute…he didn’t want me to miss out again {he’s sweet like that}. So I ordered this straight from the Urban Decay site + even though it said 2-day shipping I wasn’t counting on it due to the busy holiday season but I was stalking the mailman!

I don’t know if it’s a beauty blogger/makeup junkie thing but I LOVE the packaging! It is a metal case all the way around {no paper tops!} + it has a hidden secure snap closure instead of a magnet.

This is the only photo I’m putting up of the shadows away from direct sunlight because even though they look pretty here you can’t see the various shades of shimmer without direct lighting + I hate using a flash for makeup pictures so the rest {below} are in direct sunlight with no editing minus cropping/sizing.

I was surprised that I actually liked all the shimmer that is going on here. Usually I steer clear of having so much but these combos work for my skin tone.

Using Limit, Factory + Mugshot with Blackheart to line upper + lower. I also used UD 24/7 liner in Whiskey to line my lower lash line. Not very thrilling for my first go with this palette but I plan to go a little more dramatic next time.

And there’s the rest of my face! Overall I love the colors + quality. This was taken from my Instagram a couple of weeks back + the liner duo is pictured also. I’ve used other Urban Decay products in the past but this is my first time using any of their eye shadows so I definitely like!
